Hello! I’m currently on a gap year, having applied to study English and Philosophy at University. I believe English is a passion that lends itself to being discussed with other people. As such, I’m very keen to not only help my students achieve the best grades possible in exams, but also to kindle their love for the subject too. My goal is to support and guide students, developing their ability to learn proper exam technique and to engage more profoundly with different texts. These skills will lead to outstanding grades, articulate writing by exam season and in all subsequent avenues of life. My reading background in feminist, marxist and psychoanalytic literary criticism, as well as my history of exemplary exam results, has equipped me for teaching a text from any angle.
